I’ve never been a blogging photographer. As you can see, I tried back in ‘07, but unexpectedly my personal life did a 360 and blogging wasn’t a necessity to me. However, now I’m back on track, and ready to show the world my photographs. Blog style.

I am CCHS Alumni, from ‘02, so when I heard about the ‘97 Reunion, I volunteered to take photos at their event. I didn’t know many people there, but it was fun anyways. 28 definitely is the new 18! These guys had TONS of fun!

This is Peyton. I did this session a little over a month ago, but since I am just now getting into blogging, I am just now posting it! Peyton is such a CUTIE, even though she wasn’t feeling well, and she wouldn’t smile at all. Her mommy & daddy are getting married next August, and I’ll be shooting their wedding… can’t wait!

ps. Miss Peyton’s grandpa passed away unexpectedly last week, so if you could say a prayer for their family, I’m sure they would appreciate it.

What better way to get started to this blog thing, than to be tagged! I was tagged by Dan Watkins & Victoria Lynne.

I’m supposed to tell 8 things about myself that not many people would know. (Hmmm…) And then I’ll tag some other blogs.

1. I graduated college with honors, and I was chosen to represent all of the graduating photography majors, and give a speech! I was so nervous, but I did it well!

2. My first job was at 15, and I was a hostess at a Chinese Restaurant. I’ve had several jobs since then, and I worked the longest at DHL - where I did Import Customer Service for 3 years while going to college, and even though I hated the management- it was a really cool job.

3. My parents are divorced, and have been since I was 2, I am the only kid they had together. They both remarried after that and had 2 kids each. Dads kids: Jordan-16 & Shelby-12 and Moms kids: Shane-17 & Spencer-13.

4. Favorite Foods: Chocolate, Cheesecake, Key-Lime Pie, Pasta, French Fries, Aparagus / Foods I dislike: Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Venison, Yogurt

5. I honestly can’t wait for the day when I can get married. The boyfriend and I have been together 2 years, but we don’t talk about marriage, yet. My dream since I was young is to be happily married, and especially since shooting so many weddings, I have “wedding fever”.

6. The boyfriend & I went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise in May for our 2nd Anniversary and I am in love! With the boy, the cruise and the Caribbean! If I could, I would move to the Caribbean in a heartbeat! We visited: Puerto Rico, Aruba, Curacao, St. Thomas, St. Maarten & St. John!

7. I am slightly obsessed with the Cincinnati Bengals. I love Football Season! The boyfriend also tells me to root for these college teams FSU, WVU, Notre Dame & Marshall

8. I am also a fan of perfume, I’m addicted to buying shoes, I love holding babies, I drive a really awesome car, Dogs are awesome- I would have 5 if I could, I love Cincinnati, Wedding Photography is truly my passion, I recently decided that baby photography is my 2nd passion, I love blogs- I am addicted to them… I read 5 or 6 different blogs daily, and I belong to 3 message boards!

Normally you would tag 8 photographers, or other bloggers- but since I’m new I don’t have any friends yet sooo, I’ll do one of these at a later date and tag other people then!

A few of my brides have been getting on me for not having a blog, so here ya go! I am also in the process of updating my website (which sadly, has not been updated in a year)… so lots of new things going on for KacyPhoto right now!

Just FYI: We are still working out the tweaks & design elements… so just be patient and hopefully it’ll be fabulous in no time!
