One of my 2009 wedding couples is having a baby! Chasidy & Clay were married last June, and their baby boy is due in just a few weeks! They’re my “rockstar couple” and so much fun to work with. They pretty much let me do whatever I want, and they have amazing chemistry so the photos turn out phenomenal.

Through the powers of Facebook I have gotten nearly 600 fans on my fan page! I have been giving away a couple mini-sessions here and there for contests held on my fan page. The first winner was Chandra! Turns out she is best friends with my step-cousin… who knew?!
Chandra, her husband and son met me in my neighborhood for a quick (yet awesome) photoshoot! Hayden just turned two, so it was perfect timing for photos! I loved their outfits also– but I will admit, if she would have asked my opinion on all three wearing plaid I would have probably said “please don’t” but it turned out very cute! Glad she didn’t ask
Here’s the result from our shoot on a beautiful Saturday.

and one last one… poor guy! Picture taking is hard work!

I shot Heather’s wedding back in 2006, and now she’s the momma of two beautiful girls! Lainey is 2.5 and Lexie is 1.5… she’s definitely got her handsful! But these two girls are such a delight, and I had so much fun with them! Here’s some photos of Lainey, Lexie, Mommy, Auntie & Gramma!

I went to High School with Cameron’s mom, Candace! And I haven’t seen her since… but through the wonders of FB we have reconnected and she asked me to take photos of Cameron for Easter. Cameron had a bit of a rough start, but now she is happy and healthy, and has the BEST smile!

For several years I have been a part of a wonderful organization called Littlest Heroes Project. Through this wonderful charity, I am able to give a free photosession to a family with a child who has been through tough obstacles, such as an illness, premature birth or birth defect. Doing these photosessions is by far the most rewarding thing I have ever been a part of!
Meet Bayleigh
Today is her 1st Birthday.

I met Bayleigh’s mom, Aimee, through LHP, and after chatting we realized I had just taken photos of her friends family! Such a small world! Aimee was diagnosed with a life threatening heart condition when she was pregnant. Her doctors recommended termination, but she declined. Her health and wellbeing was at great risk by continuing the pregnancy, but she was determined, and on April 8, 2009 — healthy, but premature Bayleigh was born. Both Aimee and Bayleigh are miracles, and I was very honored to be chosen to be their Littlest Heroes Photographer!

Happy Birthday Sweet Baby!
